Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a process through which clients work face-to-face with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

What You Can Expect

Dr. Francis offers weekly 50 min sessions that focus on individualized care. For those that need more time due to their circumstances, she will provide 2-hour sessions.

The Intake session will consist of identifying the stressors that are in your life, contributing factors to those stressors, symptom checklist, and treatment planning. The Intake Session will also review initial paperwork and it is scheduled for a 90 min session.
